To apply for tax-exempt purchasing, follow these steps:

1. Prepare Your Documentation:
   • Ensure you have a valid tax-exempt certificate or non-profit status documentation issued by your state or the IRS.
2. Submit Your Documents:
   • Upload your documents through our website (click here).
3. Verification Process:
   • Our team will review your submission and confirm your tax-exempt status within 1-2 business days.
4. Approval & Future Orders:
   • Once approved, your account will be updated, and tax will be automatically removed from future orders when logged in.

If you’re working with a strict deadline, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request. In some cases, expedited production and shipping options may be available at an additional charge.

We recommend saving as a PDF file. You may also send the file in the following types: JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF, and EPS.

We prefer that you send PDF with embedded or outlined fonts. PDF files are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to flatten your files before uploading.

For the best results, please make sure your designs are created and finalized in CMYK color mode. If a file is sent in RGB, the colors may shift during printing, which could lead to unexpected results. We want to ensure you’re happy with your final product!

Your artwork files should be at a minimum of 300 dpi. For Large Format products, such as banners or signs, please set your artwork resolution to 150 dpi.

If your border is too close to the cutline, it may not align perfectly after trimming. Since we cut through multiple sheets at once, we recommend keeping borders at a safe distance to ensure the best results and avoid any unintended shifts.

Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.

Please keep all text at least 0.125" inside the cut-line.

The bleed for Standard Products is 0.125".

The bleed for Booklets and Presentation Folders is 0.25".

We recommend using our templates at all times.

SanctusPress requires Print Ready files with proper rotation. Files submitted are printed HEAD to HEAD as-is based off your files.

Make sure to set up your files so that when we print them HEAD to HEAD the final product will read the way you would like. Also, front and back files need to be set up either both sides vertically or both sides horizontally.

For files not properly set up, SanctusPress will use best judgment and will not be responsible for improper rotation.

To avoid any transparency issues, it's best to resolve them before saving your file. To ensure a smooth printing process, please avoid using shadows, glows, or other transparent effects over a spot color. Instead, convert your spot color to CMYK and flatten your design before sending it over. This helps ensure your final print turns out just as you expect!

When sending your artwork, please only include the files you want printed. Extra files, like proofs or samples, could accidentally be included in the print run. To avoid any mix-ups, kindly send only the necessary print files—unless one of our team members specifically requests additional files. We appreciate your help in ensuring a smooth printing process!

We only except seperate files for each side of your job. Please note, if you send us both sides on the same artwork your job will not print correctly.

2 FILES – 1FR, 1BK / 1 FILE – FR&,BK

To ensure your blues print correctly and don’t appear purple, always keep at least a 30% difference between Cyan and Magenta. Since blue and purple are close in the CMYK spectrum, too much magenta can cause an unwanted color shift.

For a rich, accurate blue, try using a color mix like C-100, M-70, Y-0, K-0, keeping the magenta lower than the cyan. This simple adjustment will help your blues stay true to your design!

Grayscale images that are converted to CMYK will have a color shift in the final print. That shift may be green or yellow.

Always check the CMYK of your grayscale in the final CMYK document. If there are other other than K in your grayscale image, there is a chance that the color will vary.

To eliminate all other than K, use your Channel Mixer (adjustment layer) in Photoshop, then click "Monochrome" and adjust accordingly.

Rich black is an ink mixture of solid black, 100% K, with additional CMY ink . This results in a darker tone than black ink alone. If you print black alone as 100% K, the resulting black may not be as dark as you might like.

We recommend using C 60 M 40 Y 40 K 100. This will give you a deep, dark, rich black.

*Products that are printed with dye-sublimation (9oz Premium Polyester Banner, Flags, Table Covers, Fabric Tube Displays, etc.) call for the following color :

C 100 M 100 Y 100 K 100

Overprint is often used to intentionally overlap inks, but it can sometimes lead to unexpected results. To ensure your design prints as expected, we recommend turning off all overprint objects before submitting your files. For example, if a logo is set to overprint, its colors may blend with the background, altering the final look.

One common issue occurs when white type is set to overprint, causing it to disappear from the printed piece. To prevent this, always double-check your logos and artwork before submitting. Flattening all layers and converting any Pantone or RGB colors to CMYK can also help avoid these issues and ensure a smooth printing process.

When exporting from any program such as Indesign or Illustrator, use these settings to make sure your PDF files export correctly.

NOTE: Due to Adobe limitations, this preset will not convert all colors into CMYK. You must convert all colors to CMYK before saving your file.

Sometimes, the edges of a business card may develop slight cracking, especially when using dark, high-ink coverage designs. This typically affects only a small portion of the cards in a print run.

To minimize this, consider using lighter colors or, if dark colors are necessary, try to reduce the amount of ink coverage as much as possible. This will help keep your cards looking crisp and professional!

Banding can happen for a variety of reasons, such as the program used for exporting (like InDesign or Corel) or having too many gradient steps—especially when transitioning from a very light to a dark color in a small space.

To avoid this, double-check your digital files before sending them. If you're using a gradient, make sure there’s enough space for a smooth transition to ensure the best printing results!

When a job is coated with UV, then scored and folded, some cracking may occur. Over time, as the piece is used and folded repeatedly, these cracks can become more noticeable, and the ink may start to chip.

This is a normal occurrence with coated prints. Choosing a non-UV coating can help reduce the likelihood of cracking, but it may not completely prevent it. Keeping this in mind can help you make the best choice for your project!

Pantone colors can affect your print job in a few different ways, so it’s important to prepare your files correctly to ensure the best results.

Object Effects – Using effects like shadows or glows on top of Pantone colors can create transparency issues during printing. To prevent this, always convert Pantone colors to CMYK before submitting your order.

Transparent Images – If your design includes transparent images, white areas may unexpectedly appear when printed. Converting all Pantone colors to CMYK beforehand will help avoid this issue.

Color Conversion – If your job is set up with Pantone colors but will be printed in CMYK, the colors may not match as expected after conversion. To maintain accuracy, be sure to convert all Pantone colors to CMYK before sending your files.

Taking these steps will help ensure your design prints exactly as you envision!

Counter Cards are supported by 5" double-wing easel backs with an adhesive strip. Easel backs are applied and shipped flat. Final assembly is required.
